Known by locals as “JP”, Jamaica Plain is a hip neighborhood in Boston with hidden gems on every street corner. The abundance of triple decker and Victorian homes that have been converted to condos draws a large demographic of families and even senior residents to the area, yet the neighborhood never feels overcrowded due to the abundance of public gardens and open spaces that are regularly in use.

In addition to the eclectic night life and dive bars, JP’s close proximity to public transportation makes this neighborhood a desirable location for working families to reside. Close enough to travel by public transit to work in Boston proper, but removed enough from the hustle and bustle of the city to raise a family in a suburban lifestyle.
